Directions

We are 1 minute off the main A36 Bath-Warminster Road at Beckington, just outside Frome, Somerset. Please note that some In-car satellite navigation systems place us down the road in Shawford, which is incorrect.

From Bath

  • Take the A36 in the direction of Warminster for approx 9 miles.
  • At the Beckington Texaco Services roundabout on the A36 (first r'bout after Woolverton), take the third exit, signposted Beckington.
  • Immediately on your right hand side, you will see the Beckington Memorial Hall and playing fields
  • Next to the memorial hall, turn right on to Bath Rd. Use caution when turning across the road.
  • Continue along Bath Rd away from the village for approx 900 yards, we are on the left signposted "Altek" and "Clifford Farm".
  • Follow the track down to our office/workshop.


Note: on leaving our premises you can turn left to rejoin the A36 (there is a 1-way exit at the end of Bath Rd).

From Warminster

  • Take the A36 in the direction of Bath for approx 8 miles.
  • At the Beckington Texaco Services roundabout on the A36 (second r'bout after Standerwick), take the first exit, signposted Beckington.
  • Immediately on your right hand side, you will see the Beckington Memorial Hall and playing fields
  • Next to the memorial hall, turn right on to Bath Rd. Use caution when turning across the road.
  • Continue along Bath Rd away from the village for approx 900 yards, we are on the left signposted "Altek" and "Clifford Farm".


From Frome

(from Bath Rd/Oldford Hill side)

  • exit Frome on Oldford Hill
  • On your left hand side you will see The Ship public house
  • Take the third turning left after the pub, signposted Beckington. (caution: sharp turn)
  • Upon entering the village, continue straight along the High St over the roundabout, past the Woolpack public house.
  • At the end of the village as the road begins to bend to the right toward the A36, you will see the Beckington Memorial Hall.
  • At the Memorial Hall, turn left (looks like straight on) on to the old Bath Rd.
  • Continue along Bath Rd away from the village for approx 900 yards, we are on the left signposted "Altek" and "Clifford Farm".
  • Follow the track down to our office/workshop.
